Story of Phelon & Moore Ltd)" by Barry M Jones
To the best of my knowledge only one compehensive book has been
written
on Panther motorcycles. This is the definitive work and a "must have"
for Panther enthusiasts.

- "Panther Since 1950" by Steve Wilson
Coming soon (writing this in Jan 2008),
this book covers Panthers from 1950. It is available from

Publishing.
As well as the above two book,
Panther
Publishing have produced several other Panther related books (and
videos).
- Pitmans
Pitmans published a number of manuals for different models in their
"Pitman's Motor-Cyclists Library". I am aware of Pitman's "The Book of
The Panther" for Lightweight, Heavyweight and Red Panther models which
were all written by W.C.Haycraft.
- POC Heavyweight Engine Manual
The Panther Owners Club publish a
manual
on the heavyweight engines. Some of the details are applicable to other
models.
